“Hello everyone! Happy Father’s Day. To those of you who don’t know, this is my third time doing this and so far I’m 2 for 2 on crying during my message and for some reason they gave me Father’s Day, I don’t know. I do have a good feeling I’m going to break my streak today, though.
Father’s Day began in the year 1910, created by a woman named Sonora Dodd, inspired by Mother’s Day. It became a nationally recognized holiday in 1972 by Richard Nixon. This leaves 62 years where Father’s Day was unofficially celebrated. I mean, I guess we had a few big wars in there, but it seems like fathers got lost somewhere.
